Love this place, have been back again and again. Whether you are going for a low key lunch, dinner as a couple or to celebrate an event in a big group this place caters for all.
It has a lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. The best bit is the food though. Just delicious. French food is my favourite and I am half French so I am comparing it to many places.
Highly recommend and I don't know anyone who would disagree. -

We went to Brasserie Blanc because it had been well recommended, and we were NOT disappointed!
All the food was outstanding, especially the pistachio soufflé and the scallops.
Our waiter gave recommended a bottle of wine; his recommendation paired wonderfully with our food, and tasted wonderful :-)
Tip: Throughout our meal, the service was friendly and helpful; in addition to being knowledgeable about the wine list, our waiter also knew the food menu very well.
My only complaint - despite the fact that on the evening we visited the restaurant was less than half full, it took a long time for our drink order to arrive. -

This is my second time at Brasserie Blanc in Leeds. It is a good balance between a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and "fine" dining.
The food is good and the service excellent. The price was very reasonable, as well, though the place lacks a certain quiddity (as most chain restaurants tend to). -

Consistently good quality and honest French style food. Friendly and accommodative service. A menu that has something for everyone and enough variety to keep repeat visits interesting. The cheese soufflé as a starter was tasty with a light and fluffy consistency but could have used a stronger cheese to add more depth to the flavour. The chateaubriand was tender, succulent and cooked to perfection (medium) and paired well with sides of French fries and French green beans. Good selection of cheeses with bread as the final course. The restaurant was renovated in October 2015 and unfortunately has a less warm, less French bistro atmosphere compared to before, with the addition of a lounge area including a TV on the wall, presumably to cater to the Friday night crowd. Although this detracts from the overall experience, I will definitely visit again just for the chateaubriand!

Despite being set in a Victorian Mill, from the outside Brasserie Blanc is rather unassuming. Set on the canal front, the view is lovely and adds to the charm of the place. Once inside, it's beautiful without being too snooty for it's own good. Authentic to the original architecture, exposed brick, low vaulted ceilings complete with original cast iron pillars make it a great place to eat with family, friends or your other half and feel relaxed whilst a bit posh all at the same time.
The mains are cooked to perfection, with the slow cooked beef just melting beautifully in the mouth. Delicious. Not much on the menu in the way of catering to veggies, but for meat eaters this is a definite investment of time and money. My personal advice would be to take advantage of the brasserie's multiple course offer, where £14.35 will get you a glass of wine, a starter (lamb broth, yum), a main (again with the slow cooked beef) and a dessert (bread and butter pudding). Lovely.
